Robin Francis
Over 30 years in IT and still with a full head of hair. Robin is a major shareholder in ECL and was there at the start back in 1994. Primary roles are account management, marketing and staff agony aunt. Outside work Robin can be found indulging his midlife crisis at the gym, trying to improve his golf handicap, and when possible wandering around the Lake District. Robin is married with two grown-up daughters.
Richard Sargeant
Even more years in IT than Robin, with less hair to prove it. Richard is also an ECL-original and a major shareholder. Richard and Robin share the ‘CEO’ role, with Richard also heading up the technical side of the business which includes managing our team of dedicated and experienced engineers. Outside work when not playing with technology, Richard likes to cycle, play Tennis, watch James Bond films, and eat curries. Not necessarily in that order. They also marry Richard with two daughters.
Peter Smith
Pete joined ECL in 2010 and is not only invaluable in his role as Richard’s number 2 in the technical team, he is also now a shareholder and helps Robin and Richard manage the company. A highly capable 3rd line technician, Pete is an excellent trouble-shooter and a calm head in an emergency. In his own time, Pete is one of those film buffs who seems to know every quote from every film. He’s also a committed ‘gamer’, an occasional golfer and a married family man with a couple of teenagers to keep under control.
